Then he joined Eureka before joining the club of his life: Boca Juniors in 1922.

Considered the best Argentine defender before World War II, he did not find a successor at the end of his career in 1931. An excellent defender, with athletic qualities, he is considered by many to be the best defender of his time in Argentina. He is a modern defender, who also excels for his technical qualities, he is then the darling of the supporters and the local press.

He had a deep knowledge of football, especially tactically where he was one of the best players in his ability to position himself well on the field. Fast, good tackler and true leader of men, he had a great presence and charisma that allowed his team to become even stronger.

The player will be the cornerstone of the club's successes during the 20s, he also won 5 Argentine championships, in 1923, 1924, 1926, 1930 and 1931.
